As of today marks an era of NASCAR where the champions will use hair over their lips as a tribute to the angry gods. Montoya is exempt since he has struck a deal with the lord of fire.

Yeah I was just thinking, we get to see how fast Jeff Gordon's facial hair grows. No live coverage on Motors Tv for the PSP Series. They will be airing something called WEC. (whatever that is...) It's in Brasil so it's probably some short championship of exotic cars.

Are other drivers doing it?

WEC is the World Endurance Championship. Features various teams that take part at Le Mans.

Exciting weekend coming up. except if you're a JWT fan. Yes, he's running trucks, but the twitter cops have cracked down and banned his account. Before the good stuff even started happening.
Apparently someone was confused whether or not it was the real JWT running around America in a chickensuit, and reported him...
I guess they thought it might be something he'd really do. Oh well, fun while it lasted.

BTW whatever happened to John King (guy who won Daytona)?
That was Red Horse Racing's third entry. (#7)
But even after winning Daytona, King couldn't muster up enough sponsorship to keep his ride, so Deloach cut the team down and scrapped the entry, until they resurrected it with Kligerman a few weeks ago.
What is it about winning Daytona and not being able to find a seat thereafter?
As for Kings whereabouts, without searching I'd say he's probably having a couple beers with TBayne, discussing such things.
BTW TurnerMo is fielding a fourth truck this weekend, in remembrance of the summer barbeque season.
Their driver will be August Grill. Yes I am serious.

BTW PSP slowest in Cup prac. That's all the news I could muster.

Looks like our faves Ambrose and Montoya are not too fast today, lingering around the back.

I can barely watch Juan anymore, he makes me so damn nervous he is going to cause an accident. I went to bed last race, was he really at fault with Boyer or was Boyer just getting his digs in?As of when I posted it.

Juan,
Please don't crash someone who is in the Chase.
Thank you

It was Bowyer's fault. And Bowyer didn't wreck until the next corner, as it was just a side-brush. He just had a tyre go down.I can barely watch Juan anymore, he makes me so damn nervous he is going to cause an accident. Gotta feel for Sadler. Childress doesn't want him to win. If you're one of those conspiracy theorist nuts, you'd probably say everybody at RCR heard PopPop over the radio yelling: "You do NOT help that #2 car today." We all know that wasnt just directed at Austin.
And then they completely screwed Sadler's adjustments on the last stop? Foiled again.

Anyone planning to switch telecasts between the truck race and Indy? This'll be a pretty quick race tonight.
