Well. Moto 2 does that and pretty much all the time.
Who cares what the engine is or if they are all the same engine.
Don't forget, the best racing of all uses a single cylinder low tech motor, no brakes, no gears, no tech.

Great stuff but sadly all too rare in the so-called premier class. As said Motos 2 and 3 dish this sort of finish up almost every fortnight but often with a handful of riders going for it on the last lap.

I think the big 'uns need dumbing down technically to provide bigger grids (less expense) and tighter races. What we have now is two seperate classes in the same race with the 'proddy' bikes only picking up more than crumbs when the big boys falter.

Didn't anyone see the recent race between Pedrosa and Lorenzo ? Equally as exciting and very much a last corner result.

To get great racing like this, the riders need to really trust on another. Oddly, I've never seen Stoner race that way.

in case you were wondering i was being a tad surcastic with my OP.

ahh our beloved moto2 and 3, the greatest challenge to engineer and rider ever, its a great pity how the 2 most spectacular classes in gp history, the 125 and 250s arent even cold in the grave but are sidestepped and forgotten already, who cares though, they didnt provide any real racing anyway, it was only right that they were BANNED.

its moto2 and 3 all the way for me now, i calmly and intentionally forget all the fantastic, sometimes ecstatic racing of the 125/250 classes and am thankful iam around to witness amazing made for tv racing of moto2 and 3.

now why was i interested in grand prix again? nope its gone.

anyone remember the 500 races of the late 90s early 2000s? makes that original link look run of the mill.
