If it rains as forecast suggests it may, how long do you think they'll delay proceedings until they call it?
A couple of years ago Moto GP had to cancell a night race as the floodlights make each rain drop look like a golfball and IMPOSSIBLE to see. (Most of us will have driven in heavy snow in the night).
Would it mean the end of "night races"??
Rain for Singapore?

Any showers should clear pretty early in the afternoon, leaving the circuit dry and ready for action. Final practice begins at 18:00 SGT and there could be some brief sunny spells, before sunset at 19:01.

The general forecast at this time of year is for rain to fall overnight/in the morning. It doesn't always do that though. Sometimes rain will fall in the afternoon/evening, but certainly not guaranteed. If you look at any mainstream forecasts they trot out the standard 60% chance of scattered storms, because it's far from easy to predict with any sort of accuracy. Heck, look at yesterday, expected to be dry all day long, and we got a massive downpour.
