So Eddie might be a blatant attention whore, but he's certainly conducted the best of these new podium ceremonies.

Yup, Eddie is a showman and he knows how to do an interview.

Finally after 5 months Seb wins again!

Great drive from di Resta too, Massa with a good recovery drive, Alonso taking home points again, Rosberg with a decent 5th from Merc.

Tough luck for Lewis, this makes things tougher for him now. Same with Maldonado, just as when he is doing things right, he gets a car problem.

Nice one Seb. So many people had all but written him off. He is now Alonso's closest challenger. With Red Bull favored tracks on the way.

Do not crow too much, the nearest challenger seems to change every other race.

:rotfl:

In 2010 alone, he made more mistakes than all the other lead drivers COMBINED.

Not to add, though, that other than in qualifying, the Ferrari has been A GREAT car all season long.

:drunk:

Haha, don´t make me laugh! My stomach is aching by now after reding these last pages! :p

It's the same problem as last season and the second half of 2009. However unlike last year, the leader hasn't got the out-and-out fastest car, but a more reliable one.

Yep. Certainly asked better questions than any of those used previously.

MW throwing Lewis under the bus with the comment about touching the wall

That is not what happened at all and you know it. Simon asked him if Lewis' contact with the wall during qualification was the catalyst to the gearbox failure. MW said he really didn't think so, that it was a separate issue.

Yep, as soon as he said that me and my g/f looked at each and said "Naaaaaah"

Great race from Seb, great one from Jenson, and Kimi retains 3rd in the standings, not as bad a day as it started :)

good race- looks amazing in HD as well. Shame for Hamilton and Maldo- both drive very well and got nothing for it. And Schumi- well old man is it time to go now?? funny that Brundle seemed to be trying to find excuses for him- had it been Grosjean, Maldo or one of the others I doubt he would have been as lenient

My man Alonso is looking good for the title- the others kepp tripping themselves up and he keeps getting the points- shades of 1986

Good drive from Felipe today
Tough luck Lewis, he did a very solid job before the retirement. You can say Vettel lucked into that inherited win, but he's been on Hamilton's shoes before... luck evens out in the end.

Indeed they need to knock 10 laps off the race.

Absolute borefest apart from the SC incidents. Not really possible to attack on this circuit but great result for Vettel and especially Alonso.

Poor Hamilton, that was cruel.
Vettel inherits the 25 points istead, and Button couldn't maximize the cars potential, so....

-Alonso's pace in the middle of the race was impressive! Clearly that car had a lot on offer this race, it's just a shame it's more difficult to unlock for qualifying.

-A mighty performance from Di Resta, and atleast today he's worthy of the praise he apparently get's from BBC and Sky. A really, really impressive drive!

-That fifth from Rosberg is also worth a thumbs up, 'cause it wasn't much more to get speed-wise from the W03 today I think. Schumacher's pace wasn't quite there, and then that strange brake-incident happened.

-Nice result in the circumstances for Räikkönen.

-Gritty, spectacular drives from the Australians, it's just a shame that Red Bull's strategists use up their good ideas on one driver, there's not enough capacity to serve two there! And the constant KERS-issues!

-Impressive race too from Glock! I believe it's Kova's work, that Marussia now is ahead of Caterham, 'cause I'm sure Petrov would've beaten Glock, if he hadn't been hit by his team-mate....

-Cruel result for Williams as well, when they desperately needs points. Solid to impressive drive from Maldonado for as long as it lasted, and actually quite good from Senna as well, for as long as it lasted.

Doubt they can, it has to be a certain distance, I think.

They could with getting rid of the stupid chicane which is turn 10. Just make it a sweeping left hander. Could knock a few seconds of the lap.

Another slam dunk from Pirelli, cars lapping 10 secs slower than pole on the supersofts at the beginning.

I haven't been too critical at Pirelli, but this is just ridicoulous.

Yes, really. Petrov outbraked himself and ran into both Kobayashi and Massa, losing his own FW. Kova probably ran over his wing afterwards.

What i do find interesting though is how Kova's comment on how he has collided with his team mate immediately brings you to the conclusion that it was him running into Petrov. Especially considering it was Petrov's FW that was missing while Kova's car didn't seem to have any substantial damage.

I've found Singapore to be great fun to drive in various games, but as a spectator - especially for two long hours - it is indeed dreadful. I don't understand why they don't cut it back to Monaco-length instead of the full haul.

This is a race having the highest fuel consumption rate. Cars were damn heavy at the start. Nearly 160kg fuel. Fuel tanks of cars are designed based on Singapore GP. That's only expected. Pirelli have nothing to do with it.

On the radio, it totally sounded as if Kovalainen took responsibility for Petrov running nose-less. He could've cut sharply infront you know.

Because i dont really give a flying stuff what he says about Spain, Spanish fans, or Spanish drivers, and if knows we're such a diverse lot here in the UK, which i agree we are, then its ridiculous he should label us all fans of Lewis, something he does often.

Yeah I agree, it's far too long. The atmosphere seems great and the long-shot from helicopter looks magnificent. But the race itself doesn't offer much, it's rather processional. They should cut it and make it shorter really.

Thats not Pirelli's fault, they've got full tanks and the engine etc are all turned up to 11 for qualy but not the race. Plus they can use DRS whenever they want in qualy but not the race.

Number of laps is decided by distance indeed, first one after 300km makes up the distance. If you would make a circuit from U-turns only you would get immense laptimes but only 300km.
