Does anyone perhaps have a photo they could post or point me towards showing Peter van Rossem racing a Lister?

Doug,

It's slim pickings I'm afraid. The only one I could come up with immediately (ie. at work) is this rather grainy number, showing the late, much missed PVR in Yellow Peril - complete with slightly incongruous Caterham Cars sponsorship - and very odd exhaust pipe location:

http://www.racing70s...g_hmwlister.htm

I can almost hear the noise now - that ground shaking laugh swiftly followed by the quasi comical post race de-brief which frequently had the assembled masses in stitches (there I was Boysie....passed 'im on the outside around Abbey....nothing on the clock except the maker's name etc. etc.), at least 25% of which must have been true. A true character in those delightfully innocent and fun times of JCB/ Lloyds & Scottish - which I am fortunate enough to just about remember. In fact I think it may have been him who first called me Hamster - logical enough for a grubby little urchin with a surname such as mine - which has stuck ever since....

My father raced our car (43 years of ownership and counting...) against him frequently, and I am certain that he features in a number of photographs we have at home. Unfortunately I won't have access to these for a couple of weeks, but would be happy to sift through a few upon my return. Shame I didn't see your post yesterday, as I was back at the folks' then.

I may be imagining it, but is there not a photo in Chris Harvey's book "Jaguars in Competition" of him in YP at Thruxton during a JCB round in c.1973-4?

Sorry --is there nothing in Skilleter's LISTER book??? It is: page 202 shows BHL133 in colour (frontview).
