So Petrov's wing fell off as the bolt sheared off??
Apparently, luckily he felt something and backed off, could have been a nasty one.

Is live timing working for you? Mine keeps freezing for 20 seconds and then works, and freezes and then works... Annoying!
Yeah my timing seems okay, and finally, Kimi is back out, halle bloody lujah.

this is why I like suzuka. Punishment!
I get a feeling that the Force India pit wall and garage were all sporting that Abed face when Hulk crashed

It's amazing how Lotus has dropped the ball, weirdos were saying it's the best car a few days ago..
Can't argue with that, Its beginning to get really frustrating, it would be slightly less annoying if Kimi weren't so high in the standings.

I think its more like Red Bull has raised the bar. Both drivers are on top of it.

Looks like it will be like that in qualifying as well. Red Bull much faster in the first two sectors.Red Bull 1-2.

If the sector times are indicative, Red Bull 1-2 in qualifying.

Looks like RB have at least .4s on Mclaren.
Do they really? I didn't watch the session but did follow the live timing and it said both McLaren drivers had traffic in their final laps. Otherwise it's really hard to believe RB can turn things around by just a fortnight and by such margin.

Well, they have two hours to figure something out. This is why you need to take every opportunity for big points. Hamilton lost 25 points in Singapore and now Red Bull have overtaken McLaren.
If the sector times are indicative, Red Bull 1-2 in qualifying.

I think they only had trouble in the last sector, but up until then they were slower in s1 (~3 tenths) and in s2 (~2 tenths)Do they really? I didn't watch the session but did follow the live timing and it said both McLaren drivers had traffic in their final laps. Otherwise it's really hard to believe RB can turn things around by just a fortnight and by such margin.

We still haven't seen the best of McLaren. Both drivers were held up during their hot laps, so there is room for improvement for both McLarens. Said that, I believe Red Bull seemed to have made a huge leap forward this weekend. Vettel could just easily take it. With Alonso and Ferrari so far back, it's looking good for Red Bull as things stand.
They weren't held up in the first two sectors and they had already dropped chunks of time to Red Bull. McLaren have a chance to change their setup before qualifying (apparently neither driver was happy - hardly a shock when it's Button, more unusual for Hamilton), maybe they can find something there. At this stage though, I'm already seeing Christian Horner's cheshire cat grin.
