Sauber seem to have the third fastest car here and McLaren due to penalties and other errors aren't near the front, they should be able to comfortably make the podium. I think for Alonso his main focus should be on beating Grosjean and maybe Perez.
I reckon Sauber are going to take Mercedes for 5th in the WCC after this race. Or at least be very close.
I'm not really looking forward to this race though, Suzuka has never really made for interesting races. Unless it rains, and apart from the odd year like 2010 where Kamui went crazy. I'll probably sleep through it, read what happened when I wake up and then maybe catch the highlights on BBC...

I would love to see that prediction come true. A storming drive from Hamilton beating Vettel on the last lap. I can only dream for that. It is unlikely to happen.
Red Bull 1st-2nd with Alonso taking 3rd.

would love for this to happen but sadly I think the Red Bull's/Vettel will walk home with it, I expect a pretty dull race tbh

I agree Vettel is going to win easily but if Ferrari's race pace is good enough we could see an entertaining battle for positions 3 to 8.

Then, I hope Kimi, Alonso, Button and Lewis provides us with great battles (yeah, I know. Not gonna happen)

There's not going to be a battle for the lead I'm afraid to say! Kobayashi will be the interesting one to watch for me/

A DNF by Alonso would make the WDC much more interesting
If the current trend continues, a DNF for Alonso will put the title on a plate for Vettel, it's far from interesting.

Yeah I agree - a DNF for Alonso would be a disaster...

It's rained quite long and quite alot at Suzuka since last evening throughout night, I wonder how that will affect the race. At least the track must be dustier.

There was a dude in another thread who implied that they were seeding the clouds in that area ... is this something that you can comment on?

The gap from 2nd-3rd is 16pts then 7pts to 4th and 10 pts to 5th so it wouldnt be handing the title on a plate to Vettel unless the speed Red Bull have shown this weekend continues of course, and if Red Bull do dominate the last 6 races then they will really deserve the title anyway. If the current trend continues, a DNF for Alonso will put the title on a plate for Vettel, it's far from interesting.
I would like a DNF for Alonso because I dont really care for him or Ferrari so I would opt for a A.B.A. (Anyone but Alonso)

Brundle was just saying on Sky that turns out RB may have been running a DDRS that they have kept very quiet!
Well if true that is an awesome effort to keep it on the quiet without anyone getting wind until now...
