Ed, the 'Parting Shot' reminded me of something someone said once - that historic racing was where the tyres are skinny and the drivers fat.

Interesting.

Does anybody know whether Victoria le Gallais is related to Jerseyman Frank le Gallais who built the Jaguar powered rear-engined LGS (Le Gallais Special) back in the fifties?

Wonderful job Ed,for those of us not involved in M/O,its a great read of the people, cars and the events.
Makes one want to own a little Elfin or a Brabham with a T/cam.

Although Victoria is a New Zealander, I believe there is a connection, the family emigrating from Jersey to NZ after WW2.
She is certainly one very determined and competitive lady !
