Tim Wardrop Died recently.
He should be remembered as the engineer behind the Fastest lap, fastest qualifing speed and fastest lap period, at Indy.
He was the engineer for Arie Luyendyk when most of the records were set.
RIP, Dr, Who...

My goodness, this is a shock. I know he had a stroke before and had been struggling a little bit, but seemed fully recovered and enjoying new challenges, including the indycar chassis project.
62 is much too young.
He did great work in the US, and I'm glad that he will be remembered for that eather than his pretty torrid ATS spell in the early '80's in F1.

Much, much too young. It is a real art to get an Indy car to go that fast! RIP sir.

Dr. Who. Great guy, brilliant mind, always good for stimulating conversation.
He was very proud of the 1996 lap at the Speedway that may never be bettered.
RIP, Tim.
