Lol at people thinking Vettel stopped because of a lack of fuel
It's unlikely but funny in context of a dwindling title race.

if he was underfueled, they are right to put him to the back of the grid.Rings of Barcelona Vettel fans whats your opinion now?

You are ofcourse allowed to stop for technical reasonsIsnt the rule that you have to get back under your own power?

Vettel out of fuel? To be demoted to the back of the grid?
RB has a trick up their sleeve.

Better Red Bull than long term rival Ferrari I guess
I think a lot of McLaren/Lewis fans want Alonso to take it.

Horner tells Kravitz that Renault asked Red Bull to stop the car.
For the boss of the team, he doesn't seem to know much does he?
He's lying and knows exactly why he had to stop...

He isn't obliged to tell Kravitz everything.

Be good to see him back of grid keep the championship open.

Regardless of whatever reason, don't they have to bring the car back under its own power?
No, you're allowed to halt on track in cases of Force Majeure
#29

You have to get the car back to the pits on your own power bar technical issues. So what's the rule? You have to get the car to the pits on your own or just about the fuel?

He isn't obliged to tell Kravitz everything.
I can't imagine anything more annoying than having a potential crisis at the sharp end of a championship than having a camera and mic shoved in your face.
Not that I'm blaming Ted, that's his job.

"Technical issues"? With that wording, how is running out of fuel NOT a technical reason?

If it's gearbox he gets a 5-place grid penalty.
If he has to change the engine it will compromise the last 2 races.

I thought it was Vettel putting the car in neutral. Drivers do that all the time when approaching the team during a pitstop sequence.Vettels display went from 3rd gear to Neutral, Davidson said it shouldn't do so at the speed that it did. ie: not the car speed, the speed that display changed from 3rd into Neutral.

Avoiding a problem can't be force majeure right, unless the engine died on its own.No, you're allowed to halt on track in cases of Force Majeure

Well, maybe he doesn't. They didn't say anything on team radio and after stopping the car he didn't really have time to talk to his team, did he? Also there's no need for the team to tell him what exactly happened right before he goes to the press conference.Vettel a bad lier in the press conference. Smiling when saying he does not know why he had to stop on track.
You know, maybe, just maybe he was just smiling. Like he does all the friggin' time.

"Technical issues"? With that wording, how is running out of fuel NOT a technical reason?
Apart from it being the fault of the team for not putting enough in and not a technical failure, the rules specifically require the car to make its way back to parc ferme under its own power and have at least 1l of fuel for sampling.

You mean "your" show.
I'd probably prefer alonso to win out of the two of them but I, and I imagine 99% of those that aren't vettel fans, would find Seb starting at the back mouth watering.
Both for the race, to see what he can do, and for the championship. A 12 point lead (if vettel failed to score) for alonso with 2 races to go and vettel in a quicker car is a much more exciting prospect than vettel extending his lead.

Not according to ant
You know these guys, always putting you in the pedestal while your in the best car and saying you can do no wrong. Didn't they do that to Seb?

Anyone know what it's says on Vettel's dash just before he quickly goes down three gears before pulling off the track?
I think it says "NEUT" for neutral I presume but I'm not 100% sure.
Yes, neutral.

Both for the race, to see what he can do, and for the championship.
I wouldn't expect any magic with a Red Bull and their low topspeeds in a situation like this to be honest. He still may be able to get a decent result with maybe a few points, but that would be it I guess.
