Can Alonso take advantage to reclaim the points lead?
How far up the grid can Vettel go?
Will Massa play a role to hold Vettel out of the points?
Pay attention, interesting race ahead!

The funniest thing of all time would be if ham initiated his own team orders and let alo through to win

Right on.Alonso should be happy with a podium of any sort.
Vettel should be happy with points of any sort.

I hope you are right, but I am not that optimisticLewis, Webbo, Fred in that order for the podium, with Seb charging to 6/7 is my best guess at this stage...

A visit from Helmut Marko to STR would definitely smooth things up....Well they have three assistants to help achieve that.
Probably pick on the two from the second string team to contrive the pace car rather then finger Mark.

That's exactly how i feel. I really really really don't want FA to win. Yes I admit it.Hopefully Vettel climbs up. Would hate to see Alonso win the title.

We can hope...I want KR to win which will not happen. If Alonso and Vettel will get 0 points and KR wins well.

If he finishes 35 seconds behind the winner, he will get a good chunk of points.
Posted 04 November 2012 - 08:26
5 and 7 are odd numbers as well.He just can't finish 3rd or 10th because they are odd numbers in points.

I actually think SV can get it into a top 5 if he avoids accidents and all.

Funnily, I'd take that result as a Vettel supporter given the circumstances.I want KR to win which will not happen. If Alonso and Vettel will get 0 points and KR wins well.

I'll get back to you after the race.Who's up for doing a shot every time Vettel overtakes someone? I call it the Germanian Challenge!

I don't think that's a main reason. He could play it safe and still overtake a few backmarkers. They must be convinced that the seconds lost in the pitlane are worth it.One of the reasons I think RB's decision to start Vettel from the pit-lane was to avoid crashing out through over aggressive start if he had started off the back of the grid.

We will see..Alonso has to aim for 2nd today. I think Hamilton is out of reach pace wise, but everyone else Alonso can race with.

So can they change Seb's gear ratios given that he's starting from the pitlane? Or are they nominated prior to the race and therefore he's stuck with whatever they've already chosen?
