Just been looking at the results for this years grand final and Roger Orgee finished 9th , presumably the March driver from years ago

I believe that's Derek M Daly. He was a regular at Kirkistown when we had our Formula E races there in the mid 80's.

James Beckett is responsible for the WHT and despite the economic climate and the current delicate state of FF1600 somehow manages to encourage big grids, plus get some old names out. I gather the weather wasn't too good but from reports the racing was excellent

The racing at the WHT was superb as ever. Rick Morris is another name from the past who was competing. Simon Hadfield was racing his FF Lotus 69 in the WHT, together with a Lola T330 in the Allcomers Open Wheel race. At one point he had to jump from FF1600 to F5000 and back to FF1600 in consecutive races. The Lola didn't look like much fun in the torrential rain in morning qualifying...
