Great race, a battle for the lead with tyres that the drivers could push on so we saw the top two trading purples all race. Action all race and the championship still on. 8/10.

Best Driver: Hamilton
Worst Driver (will replace this one with team cause all drivers were fine): Mercedes, totally pathetic.
Best overtake: Raikkonen on Hulkenberg
Best moment: Hamilton taking the win
DRS + Tyres: DRS brilliant, Tyres -> worst in the whole season. Raikkonen on the last lap had 0.1sec slower time than fastest Vettel's lap. And ib previous laps he was losing 2secs up to 3. Similar with Alonso. Warming up hard tyres needed like 20 laps...
The track: Sweet jesus, it is best track of Tilke O.o.

Good that we will continue in Brasil :)

What a brilliant drive by Hamilton. I never really cheered for him, but this was genius, so tense all race long. Such as shame he's in a silver wreck next year.

Pirelli brought the right tyres.

Unlike Abu Dhabi we did not see any amateur level overtakes. There was some impressive wheel to wheel action to day by Button and Schumi, Maldonado and Senna, Lewis and Vettel, Hulkenberg and Kimi etc.

Overall a good race. I gave it a 7 despite being a Lewis fan. What cut one point off was the DRS. Passing was waaaay to easy. And it was terrible that the hard tires too ages to get up to temperature.

Best Driver - Massa and Hamilton
Worst Driver - Karthikeyan
Best Overtake - Raikkonen on Hulckenberg
Best Moment - Massa with a 5-place "penalty" finishing just behind Alonso.
DRS + Tyres - I never liked them
The track - Good but needs a clean up.
And the race in a sentence... Very good 7/10

Best Driver
Has to be Lewis, but Button and Massa were also great.

Best Overtake
Button on Kimi

Best Moment
McLaren winning

DRS + Tyres
Tyres were good for the race, being equal but different over the course of a stint.

The track
Good track - a few overtaking spots, unique look - hope it can cement itself as a major event every year.

Best driver: Lewis Hamilton with a great win. Vettel, Alonso, Button and even Massa put in very good drivers too.
Worst driver: For possibly the first time, none. There was high driving standards throughout the field - everyone should get a complimentary beer as a reward :) Only downside was Mercedes, but that was the shocker of a car not the drivers.
Best overtake: Raikkonen on Hulkenberg was a good one, as was Button overtaking Grosjean.
Best moment: Hamilton finally overtaking Vettel after their long exciting battle. :D
DRS & tyres: All good today.
The track: Fantastic, it gave us a great race really outperformed my expectations. Instantly into my top tier.
Race in a sentence: Fantastic way to reintroduce F1 to America, can't wait to be back.

Track good.Well designed, well presented.

GP in general spoiled by Ferrari's antics.

Nice pass by Kimi on NH.

Tyres: Pirelli...

DRS: was never a good idea, will never be.

Best drive? Kimi for his pass.

Difficult really, none of the ones the cameras were showing seemed to drive badly particularly
Hamilton v vettel, or button v grosjean
Hamilton v vettel for pretty much the whole race. The podium
Fine, though drs looked a touch strong
Fantastic. Seems a bit like India v2.0
Bit of everything

Well now we know there are four Mark Webber fans on Autosport.

BTW I voted 10, it was a stonking race, Ham's performance was great, Vettel's tears and Horner's sour grapes make a delicious cocktail, and the cowboy hats on the podium pushed it over the top for me.

10/10 would enjoy again.

Great track, great place, great crowd, I really hope they keep going there, good race 8/10

Best Driver - Hamilton, Vettel
Worst Driver - Schumacher, Rosberg and the Mercedes team probably
Best Overtake - Kimi on Hulkenberg - absolutely brilliant
Best Moment - the pass above and when they got their cowboys hats
DRS + Tyres - DRS was perfect this time, not too easy but possible - the tires should have been softer for this race

Best moments: Lewis' embrace with the team and then whitmarsh. Many negative, petty people create conspiracies and make MW to be anti Lewis, but the warmth and respect between the two was great to see. MW knows he's losing a great driver, and surprisingly given his petulant 2011, and great, mature man too.

Lovely scenes!

Tyres felt perfect to me - could be pushed, raced and so on - was great. This is what I want to see, drivers pushing the limit racing each other.

Best Overtake: Button on Raikkonen
Best Moment: Cowboy Hats!

The track: Great track, with some very interesting parts to it

No. Made a mistake, but recovered very well. Actually he was at the tail of Raikkonen despite being down after his first pitstop.

Worst: definately everything related to the Mercedes team. Sad end for Michael Schumacher's carreer. And many youngsters will know him by these abysmal seasons, not the glory years.

Best: Hamilton of course.

Best Driver
Hamilton-Vettel-Button (it could have been a McLaren 1-2 had his gas pedal not failed yesterday in qualy...)
Worst Driver
Karthikeyan. He is turning out to be a key player this championship (sanctioned in Malaysia for taking Vettel out of the points, and what he did today... ridiculous!)
Best Overtake
Kimi on the Hulk: Payback from lap 1. Maldonado on Senna on turn 1 (no DRS gimmicks) was also very neat.
Best Moment
Hard to tell... Seb not pulling away from Hamilton, then Hamilton not pulling away from Seb?
DRS + Tyres
DRS=A tactical weapon known to all.. Some teams choose to maximize its benefits (McLaren, Ferrari), others to maximize its risk (RedBull).
Tyres=They lasted a little bit too much... Less durable tyres on this track, it would have been even more unbelievable. That said, hard to blame Pirelli for being conservative after the last european tyre manufacturer made a mockery of the USGP not long ago...
The track
AMAZING!
And the race in a sentence...
AMAZING!

Best Drivers: Hamilton, Vettel, Massa
Worst Drivers: The TV production team (too little onboard footage, too many facial expressions)
Best Overtakes: Kimi on Hülkenberg, Button on Kimi
Best Moment: About three laps from the end when the TV production team FINALLY let us watch the leaders and not the Williams drivers in P9 and P10.
DRS + Tyres: DRS is never good, the tyres were too hard.
The track: Pretty amazing – probably Tilke's finest track. Just get some more rubber in that asphalt...

Best Driver - Failipe Messy Felipe Massa
Worst Driver - If his car didn't have any problem, then Schumi and I'm a blatant fan of his, ask anyone
Best Overtake - Button on GrowJohn at the last corner of the stadium sector T15
Best Moment - Schumi train with lot's of battles going on
DRS + Tyres - thankfully not much influence in this race which saved it
The track - fantastic for racing
And the race in a sentence... - epic

Best Driver - Hamilton/Vettel
Worst Driver - Schumacher
Best Overtake - Raikkonen on Hulkenburg
Best Moment - Loved those vintage airplanes flying by!

Best Driver - Hamilton
Worst Driver - Schumacher
Best Overtake - Raikonnen on Hulkenburg with an honourable mention to Button on Raikonnen.
Best Moment - Vettel crying on the radio after being overtaken.
DRS + Tyres - Worked well. Without DRS we might not have had the pass for the lead. The lack of grip meant lots of sliding about and entertainment.
The track - The best new track in a long long time and the best Tilke one to date.
And the race in a sentence.. Exciting race which sets up an exciting finale in Brazil.

10/10 - a great race, no crashes, no lost front wings, no safety cars and no rain, yet it was an edge-of-the-seat job the whole way through.

Best driver: Hamilton, with shouts for Button and Massa.
Best overtake: from a pure driving point of view, it's KR vs NH or JB vs KR. But I remember whole seasons when you hardly got an on-track overtake for the lead so LH vs SV gets my vote.
Best moment: The three best drivers in F1 finally sharing a podium, plus knowing it will go down to the wire in Interlagos.
The track: The best new track of the lot.

Let's hope Texas has a long contract and renews for 15 years or whatever. Cracking race packed with enthusiastic fans

I really enjoyed the race. Hamilton the best driver, for the rest I have no time. I hope with reduced downforce in 2014 we will see them fighting cars so strong again. It was great to see sooo many lockups and different lines through corners.

And T1 is not so bad for overtaking, with its width they can aproach it in different ways, which is good.

Great job COTA!

Gotta agree and so did Brundle. It's not just the tyres though, it's the track surface being green and the temperature being lower than expected too which aren't easy to predict or replicate. Was a good combination of factors for a good F1 race that's "for sure".

One thing I've found interesting is that this is one of the only races since it's inception that the DRS has actually decided a win and people havn't complained (apart from Seb obviously but that made the race even better for most). Had this happened in the first few races of DRS I reckon a lot of people would be calling to get rid of it. Maybe Lewis would have got past anyway but I think it shows that people maybe are realising that DRS is quite good for negating the dirty air penalty.

Best Driver: Hamilton, flawless.
Worst Driver: Schumacher - I like to think he must have had some problem, but it just wasn't good.
Best Overtake: Kimi on Hülkenberg early in the race, Button on Kimi in the second half.
Best Moment: To see the dozens of stands filled with enthusiastic crowds. Great to see such a reception to F1 on a new track!
DRS + Tyres: Don't like either. Tyres seemed durable at least.
The track: I think it could do with fewer corners, but I counted overtakes in at least five corners so it's not all bad. Pretty good.
And the race in a sentence: Red Bull wins as F1 returns to the United States, but a flawless drive by Hamilton means the driver's championship will be decided in Brazil!

Excellent race, this was fun. The action did seem to fizzle out as the laps progressed but that's normal in F1 as the cars get spread out. We still had a pass for the lead though and those 2 upfront were never far from each other. The midfield had loads of action, I particularly liked that mental train in the beginning when Grosjean lost loads of places in 2 laps. There was several GREAT clean or near-clean passes (Kimi vs Hulk and Button vs Kimi, the "near-clean" referring to stuff like Maldo vs Senna  ).

I was also surprised that the track looked brilliantly watchable today, I sort of had lost my enthusiasm after watching a few videos of qualy and practice. The images of the field going through the drop exiting T1 on the first lap was spectacular. There was a lot of eye candy shots where you would think "woah that looks fun/spectacular/remarkable".

The poor track surface helped and I do wonder if future races will be this good as that will improve, but it's a good track, it's definitely got my seal of approval.

Voted 8/10 the race today. Perhaps that's a little harsh, 9 maybe? The standards have been raised this year as most races have been good and had lots of action, but this was a particularly good one.

4/10 (Is it becuase I'm not a Hamilton fan? ;) )
Best Driver: Hamilton
Worst Driver di Resta (No one driver stood out, but he was nowhere while Hulkenberg was scrapping for good points the whole race).
Best overtake: Maldonado on Senna
Best moment: The Hamilton v Vettel battle.
DRS + Tyres: Average.
The track: Meh. Sorry. It was ridiculous how disadvantaged the cars starting off the racing line were - highlighted by the farcical tactics employed by Ferrari (this is coming from a Ferrari fan).

8/10

Speaking from the perspective of a fan at the circuit, it was a fantastic. They've managed to build-up the land surrounding the circuit so that most if not all of the seating has excellent views of multiple sections. I have to take a point off for the lack of shade and running water but both of those can be attributed to the quick construction and assumed to be fixed in the future; outside of that it really is a spectator's circuit.

I took another point off for the race not being an all-time great race. I don't just go handing out 10s now.;)

Best Driver - Lewis Hamilton was in top form today.

Worst Driver - Mercedes as a whole take this one. What a mess. Lewis going there next year feels like one of those Gordon Ramsay shows where he saves terrible restaurants from closing shop.

Best Overtake - Kimi in turn 2. Lots of action in turn 2 this weekend in the support races. Other than 19, 2 was the surprise corner of the weekend.

Best Moment - Kimi's pass happened right in front of me. Also, I almost got run over by Emerson Fittipaldi as he came into the circuit this morning. (Technically he had a driver)

DRS & Tires - I like the tires. Yes, they are a bit gimmicky but it's within reason. DRS is just a silly device worthy of Speed Racer and the Mach 5.

Track - The main thing I take away from this weekend is how many corners had been totally ignored/overshadowed by Turn 1 leading up to the race that surprised everyone and produced difficult lines and real passing. It makes me wonder what other surprises it still has to reveal and how much potential it really has because through one race it has already proven to be a circuit that doesn't have to rely on DRS or hairpins for overtaking.

DRS + Tyres - DRS wasn't too bad round here. Tyres made for a bit of entertainment.

Agreed. I don't like the extreme tyre degradation and need to manage the tyres through to the pitstop windows. It just masks the true performance of cars/drivers and allows the worse drivers to look better than they are and the best drivers to look worse than they are. Yesterday we had drivers all through the field who could really go for it with no fear of the tyres not lasting.

excellent race on for once a good Tilke track- a battle for the lead that lasted 40 odd laps, plus loads of clean overtaking through the pack= a great advert for F1 in North America. Also good to see packed grandstands and spectator banks at the track- compared to some of the others. Be interesting to see what happens next year.

Best Driver - Hamilton
Worst Driver - Di Resta
Best Overtake - Kimi on Hulk
Best Moment - Two girls on the tower witnessing the best overtake of the race
DRS + Tyres - DRS wasn't too bad round here. Tyres made for a bit of entertainment.
The track - fantastic...and fantastic camera work
And the race in a sentence...fun

It's a 7 for me.

For a new track it was a great effort by Tilke, but how can it ever compare to the likes of Spa, circuit de gilles villeneuve and Silverstone for entertainment?

Whenever F1 goes to a new track with good overtaking opportunities plenty happens in the first race. The acid test is how it does next year and the year after that.
