You'd be wrong, but you can say it.

Why? Vettel had a pretty good comeback from a hit that easily could've ended his race.

Well, I feel that it wasn't a fair fight car wise, but Vettel was very good (especially in this race) so I guess it's well deserved.

I wonder if Petrov will get a penalty for DRS.

Alonso should take P1 from button under yellow...

If Vettel can, why not Alonso?

Because Vettel didn't pass under yellow....

Did you see the light flashing? I bet not...

And, as someone posted earlier, race control did look into the issue, and apaprently, the yellow on the tv image was simply reflection from the pirelli boards at the side of the track.

I was really enjoying the race, but I shut the race off as soon as di Resta crashed. As someone who wanted Alonso to win the title, there was really no reason to watch the last two laps.

Since not enough people are saying it, well done Button for winning a very difficult race! :D

And as I probably have to, well done Vettel for winning your third title. :)

Durty spagheti-team games are shame for F1,nice to see Alo so weak and and midlefield driver, who rely on other drivers errors only!

The race could have been a lot different if the Torro Rosso's had put up at least some fight against the redbulls. And Michael Schumacher..Don't know what to say...Anyways. Congrats Fingerboy... Alonso next year.

Congrats to Sebastian, 3x WDC, and 3x in a row!

Truly one of the most gifted F1 pilots ever!

Excellent, heady drive from Button for the win i precarious conditions!

Nice fighting spirit from Alonso, Felipe and Ferrari to bag 2nd and 3rd and secure #2 position in the WCC!

With Felipe's improved form, perhaps the Scuderia can take the trophy next year.

Shame for Lewis and Nico who drove an amazing race!

Congrats, Vettel. You did what you needed to do with the best car in the field. Alonso, thank you for providing one of the greatest seasons a driver has ever had, driving a car not worthy of your talents. You are the real world champion in many peoples eyes.

**** this. It's in the bag for Vettel. And then some folks here claim he's had no luck.

Not like Alonso was ever going to pass Button.

I don't see why they shouldn't considering what is at stake.

- Great to see Massa back. Stop whittering on about him helping Fernando; Webber let Vettel pass him, too.

- And excellent from Button

- But not the way I wanted Michael to leave. I remember when Schumacher fans were outraged that Williams and McLaren may have worked together against him.

- Alonso: driver of the year.

- Hamilton: also driver of the year

- Vettel: A worthy champion anyway, of course

- What a shame for Nico Hulkenberg and Lewis

- excellent races from Petrov and Pic, and also Vergne

- I'm off to stick pins in my Horner and Marko dolls

For what it's worth MS was 2s a lap slower than Vettel, what did you want him to do to be happy? Take the contender out to please Ferrari fans?

It appears that the warning lights were red & yellow not just Yellow when Seb passed Kamui. No case to answer for Seb if that's so

Mclaren - this was your year . Coulda Shoulda Woulda . Hamilton has 6 retirements to 2 of Alonso's and 1 of Vettal.
and the great 2013 driver lineup ensures thats the decline continues. 14 years and counting .

What a race! Congratulations to Vettel! Had to go through the grid from the back, then RB getting strategy wrong and not prepared for another pitstop and he still finished P6. Great!

So, blinking yellows, and no SC = Red&Yellow? Solid yellow and no SC = Yellow. While blinking yellow & SC sign = SC?

They looked like yellow flags to me, can someone find a link to the onboard footage from Vettel's car that was shown on sky?
