That chicane is horrible right by the bridge. Wonder how the Audi R8 is gonna fit thru there (are they racing them this year?)

and lol at Narain running straight thru it while having like a 2sec lead and losing to the guy who stalled it on entry lap

Sutil saying that nothing has been signed or decided at FI for 2013 yet while commenting the race.

DC said something like their strategy didn't work. (Don't quote me on that) Maybe they reserved ROC cars for the later stage, if it's up to the drivers?

I went to the second Wembley one as well, and it was bitterly cold. Enjoyed the event, but wouldn't go again as by the end every race seemed pretty much the same.

+ 1 ... & the engine sounds were not as awesome as I hoped

Better to watch on TV ,,,, but its worth going once if youve never been before.

Such a treat watching Schumi and Baby Schumi carve up the competition in equal machinery.

8 races 8 wins.

The final will be tough against Ogier and Grosjean.......

Maybe Lotus should get Schumacher return out of retirement once more and replace Grosjean with him :p

They did it!

Won the RoC Team Competition for 6th year in a row.

They went 10/10 , didnt lose 1 race.

Congrats!!!

I just wish they take the Individual competition more seriously, each time they win the team cup they get drunk and have a hangover the next day.

Did anyone even get within a second of them in any of those races?

Now, Schumacher or Vettel should win the Race of Champions as well. I think Heikki is the only driver who win the ROC as a Formula 1 driver? Although when he won it, he wasn't an F1 driver yet. Rally drivers have really put an ambargo on ROC title against single seaters'.

Looks like it was an addition for the F1 guys. MS moving the chicane to make it slower. Why have these guys become such wusses? If they think it's too quick then take the foot of the accelerator.

Please dont post if are completely clueless

The reason for the chicance was because the cars jumped up to 20 meters(!) before and it was quite clear that the impacts were not good for machinery nor driver.

He gets to drive KTM and Buggy so much more than the rest though. I think he's the main reason they're manually deciding who drives what instead of a draw.

Does anyone have detailed results from the past few years? Last year I think the only non-Buggy/KTM car he drove was the stock car, like this year. I also remember a year where completed the whole tournament (7 or so races with the finals) driving nothing but those two. He's certainly very, very good, but I'm afraid his participation is not unconditional and the organizers have to make sure he drives what he likes.

I don't remember that year at least in the final he had to race a non KTM/Buggy otherwise he would have won the whole thing one time. Yeah, he clearly gets more the cars of his liking. It's a fun event but he outdrove current Formel 1 drivers which are supposed to be better in an open wheeler. Ekström or Loeb would destroy him in a closed racing car for sure. The thing most of the fans here admire that he is so fast in an open wheeler . He and Vettel seems to be another world. The labile conclusion is : Put him in a good f1 car and he would be there. Unfortunately we didn't had a chance to see that in the last three years

At least in the interview he said that the ROC is his favourite and he couldn't drive it today.

So what was the point of taking this to Bangkok when it looks like no-one bothered to turn up? Surely the stadium 'rally super special' format warrants a big crowd, as every seat has a full view of the race, unlike most traditional (non-oval) circuits.

I'm sure the Wembley and (less so) Dusseldorf events were much more highly attended.

It would be worth it just to see one of the Busch brothers try to put him into the fence. He was quite aggressive in a formula car. Imagine what he would be able to do with fenders in an environment where it's OK to shove the guy next to you.

I wouldn't blame him for not doing it though. Were I him I'd hang out on one of my horse ranches and count my money...
