Caution, anorak alert ....
In 1957, Triumph entered three UK-prepared TR3s for the forthcoming Sebring 12 Hour race.
A posed photograph, taken at the factory before the cars were flown out, was subsequently published.
In recent years, that picture has been suggested to be a fake, as all three were UK-registered, and all three had already been used as 'works' rally cars. After the race, at least one, it seems, returned and took up a rally career again.
Does anyone have images of the race which will tell me what cars actually competed at Sebring in 1957 ? UK magazine outlets are not satisfactory ....
