Since its the off season and things are a little quiet i thought this warranted a whole thread! :p

Its about "Turbo", a ----- who dreams of being the greatest racer in the world, just like his hero, 5-time Indianapolis 500 champ, Guy Gagne. Plus Dario Franchitti, is a technical consultant on the film, giving advices how "Turbo" will navigate the speed and competition through the eyes of a -----

Its being made by DreamWorks and has the backing of IndyCar so at least has some credability going for it, it features

Ryan Reynolds
Paul Giamatti
Michael Peña
Luis Guzman
Bill Hader
Richard Jenkins
Ken Jeong
Michelle Rodriguez
Maya Rudolph
Snoop Dogg
Samuel L. Jackson

Oh, there's a twist ;) , here's the trailer (The more i think about it, the more the Dario Franchitti as a consultant bit becomes even funnier)

Alice in Wonderland was a more realistic depiction of the CART series than Driven.

The laughs produced by the awfulness of Driven will extend your life a good 5 years.

A friend put Driven on once on the same evening I cut my bird finger down to the bone on a kitchen knife. I had to leave and spent the next 5 and a bit hours in a&e holding my hand above my head in an obscene gesture with the drunks for aggressive company. I had a far better night.

They couldn't possibly be, only Formula One has such "forward" technology available.

:well:

Looks more realistic than Driven.

They only have to make a movie where a driver DOESN'T drive down the track the wrong way to be "more realistic than Driven".

Did you cut your finger after he put driven on? So it gave you a solid excuse to not be there?

I didn't do it on purpose, but the human brain is a fantastic bit of kit and I'd like to think it was my sub-conscious looking out for me! The other good news to come out of it, was the doctor said I must keep the blades of my kitchen knives in excellent condition, as it was one of the cleanest cuts he'd seen. Which is nice.
