I just watched the race online. I'm not paying extra to watch F1 -.- has always been free, now I need to pay for digital TV which I don't need + subscription for a sport channel with football and all of that while all I want is to watch F1, so it'd cost me more than 300 euros a year. For what, really? Sorry, livestream for me.
I agree on that... luckily in germany everything is on free tv still practice 1 & 2 on Sport 1 (even tho that channel is to 90% filled with porn its free at least) and the rest at RTL .... if they change that and only Sky will keep F1 then I dunno what I should do...

Watched the first practice sessions on Sport1. Nothing spectacular yet, it was only Ronald van Dam who is calm and relaxed, which I prefer as a commentator. Think we''ll see dual commentary for qualifying and race then.
Id rather kill myself than to ever listen to Ronald van Dam again.
He comments like its a knitting contest.
Well, a tv subscription is definitely worth it to me over some shoddy livestream, but that's just me.
Maybe subscription video feed, and listen to stream commentary meanwhile. Probably out of sync though.

Streams are about 20 - 30 seconds out of sync with livetiming.Maybe subscription video feed, and listen to stream commentary meanwhile. Probably out of sync though.
But I don't know, seems like there's no real reason for me to get a subscription for Sport1 then.

..apart from being real cheap for the first 3 months, and HD quality. They also have 3 channels (how was that btw?). Im considering it since my tv package doesnt have rtl+.

Sport1 hard bezig met F1-uitzendingen
Dinsdag 19 maart 2013, 18:00

Massa crashed in FP2, visible on the tv broadcast, it took van Dam more than 10 seconds to see it.

Probably the most criticism is about the lack of a proper preview show.
I stopped watching the preview shows years ago. They hardly showed anything that I hadn't already read or seen online.
