i did indeed ,his 350 at brands ,i paddled it off instead of pushing and came second,he not best pleased.you could have won that says he.went in his car to aberdare,and read went to assen in it.most memorable as ian was reluctant to open the throttle,economy i think.! but not the way racers liked to travel.when he did some laps at silverstone on one of his nortons he showed a good turn of speed.his 250s were very well made but never seemed to quite have enough speed.
That's sad news, John. I think you said you rode for him at one stage?
