Cobb's family home was called The Grove and it is just north of Esher village, between the railway line and the River Mole. You can find it on Google Maps by searching for Arran Way, although you can't see it on Streetview, as it's down what they probably assumed was a private drive, past a farm.

From the look of the houses on it, I would say John Cobb Rd in Weybridge was probably built at about the time he died. It leads off Locke King Road, which is named after the man who built Brooklands. Segrave Close, Edge Close and Campbell Rd are on the same estate and all have motor sport connections.

After his second marriage in 1950 Cobb's address was Cullford, Coombe Park, Kingston, Surrey:

According to the site below, The Grove was demolished after a fire:

So it looks like the site Google has marked as The Grove is actually Grove Farm. I noticed a Grove Way to the NW, so perhaps the site has been partly built over?

Or, looking at the 1945 aerial photo on Google Earth, perhaps those are surviving outbuildings (stables?) and the house was under what is now woodland to the SSE? There's what looks like some sort of circular ornamental drive on the photo.
