With Banco da Brasil potentially being one of the larger soinsors for next year, will we see a FW14 style livery on the next years car?

Posted in Massa thread, but maybe I'll get an answer here sooner
Was checking massa's site, when all of a sudden:
When did williams run those sponsors?? some quatar promo run or something?
Edit: I just saw that it is from massa's fan site, not official one

That's probably worse than McLaren running around for half a year wondering why their diffuser was stalling above 100mph..... only to discover that they had their front-wing endplates pointing in the wrong direction.....
Not good form team Willy........ Not good form.......
I've never heard of this. Which McLaren did this? I'm guessing the 2009 one?

I'd hate to be responsible for that little blooper.
Anyway, wildly off topic. Sorry chaps.

Lol, Bottas 4th in Q2 on a dry track... obviously coanda didn't work for them. But why didn't they determined that before is beyond me. Whey were talking about going to last year spec after the second race...
And lol #2 Pastor accusing the team.

I'm excited. Is anyone else excited? It seems bizarre that throwing out a new bit of tech makes a car go faster but Brundle was saying that he thought it made the car more predictable which means Bottas can throw it about a bit more and feel his way to a faster time.
I wonder if this is the influence of Symonds?

That can only happen to Williams, throwing a whole season just because they didn't want to build a standard exhaust to save some money.

Bottas faded away a bit there in Q3. Hopefully he'll be quick in the race though.
Pastor being a total dick in the press pen.

Extremely! Here's hoping for some good points from the race.

Great stuff, I was so pleased to see Sir Franks face after Q2. Massa says he was hired to lead the team....I have serious doubts

I think Bottas will strugle hard in the first stint tomorrow. After all those lockups, his tyres might be destroyed

Bottas could have got 7th with his Q2 time but it was still good to finally see some real Williams pace
Too little to late though

I'm sure the team don't assume he will be a clear leader over Bottas performance-wise.
He is there to lead a develompent of the car and to be a benchmark for Bottas. Nothing more I guess. The team may say that they want him to lead the team to keep his motivation high, though.
I'm very disappointed with Bottas' Q3 attemp. Not only that he didn't qualify as high as it was possible, but he will need to start the race on a cooked tyres and he usually has poor starts this season, so he may be well outside top10 after a couple of corners. If he was in second row instead of P9, that could make a big difference, since FW35 seemed to run a bit better in races than in qualis so far, but not good enough to expect Bottas to regain all the lost ground.

Leaving driver slates the team, then underperforms on track ? That's new to me
MalTornado sweeping everything in his way.

Dissapointing Q3, I think that with a right lap he could've been in the top 5. Plus, destroyed the tyres, wonder how long will they last tomorrow.

It seems that Williams' wind tunnel techs are still having correlation problems.
Pat Symonds: "Hello."
Aero Engineer: "Eh? Oh! Er, um, hello, er, sir."
Pat Symonds: "I've been reviewing the data on the coanda exhaust."
Aero Engineer: "Coanda?"
Pat Symonds: "Yes. It seems to me that the problem is either with the simulation software or the wind tunnel model."
Aero Engineer: "Coanda…"
Pat Symonds: "Yes, you know, the effect where an airflow sort of 'sticks' to the surface."
Aero Engineer: "…coanda…"
Pat Symonds: "So I thought I'd come and have a look at the wind tunnel model and see how it looks and… F**KING H*LL! THERE'S A BLOODY GREAT BIG SNAKE IN THE WIND TUNNEL!!!"
Aero Engineer: "…Coanda …not anaconda?"

This is what I don't understand. Coanda is and should be the best thing for aero and lap time. I thought taking it off the car would make it horribly slow, when the rest of the grid has it, but it has made the car faster? What were Williams doing before then??
Great drive from Bottas, looking forward to more of this next season.

Finally a decent result for Vale and the team. Nice work.
Now, fingers crossed that they would be competitive from the get go next season.

Congrats to Bottas for the first points haul in this season. Although, too bad that the team told him to drive to a delta, I wished he came close to perez in the closing stages of the race.

Coanda is difficult to get right, lots of teams had trouble implementing it. On top of that, Williams has noticably different areo from the rest of the teams, with their ultra-low gearbox and lots of empty space in the back. It's easier to be wise in the hindsignt, but they were cosidering reverting to last years car after the first two races, I wish they've gone that route, I bet they would've discovered that the main culprit is coanda, and who knows if they've developed the car withou coanda, they might've even catched a few podiums.
But anyway, atleast they have sorted out what was wrong for the next years car.

Pity for Maldonado having to start with a damaged front wing before he got caught in the Sutil conspiracy. Not his fault everybody is out to get him, but apart from those mishaps totally out of his control a splendid drive from this calm and consistent racecrafty mastermind.

Well done, Valtteri and the team. This performance was the most positive surprise of the weekend. I really hope that the team can keep up the progress with the updates, this seems to be very promosing ahead of the next season. I would love to see Williams back on the top once again.
ps. Bottas ran the 3rd fastest lap of the race, which is also a nice achievement.

It feels so wrong now, so disappointed that they've totally wasted their season because someone in the team was stubborn enough to keep the solution the team don't understand on the car and didn't even try how would it be without it for so long.
Apparently, FW35 has always had the potential to be a solid, midfield car.
