No, Greg won't join Truck Series. We're talking about seniors here!
Ford has came up with the idea of join both former WDCs for the Brazilian TV Ad of teh New Fusion.
Nelson and Nigel were both given one car to drive around the Velopark race track in Brazil.
By the pictures below we can imagine that the main motif of the Ad is about their legendary rivalry.
Video release is planed for this next Tuesday, January 15th.

I'm probably one of the minority who preferred Piquet out of the two, but meh. Nonetheless, looking forward to this add!

Not sure, why do you ask?

At the time it was noted in the British press that it was ok to criticise your fellow drivers but it was really bad form to involve family members.

I'd be surprised if your Average Joe in the US knows his Piquet or Mansell from his Vettel or Alonso. So I'd guess that the Mondeo is called Fusion in Brazil, too.is this a US ad? Seems to be the new Mondeo, yet is called Fusion.

Guessing this ad doesn't end well for 'our Nige' then.

You mean the Fusion is called Fusion in Brazil. What's this "Mondeo" thing you speak of?

Aha... So, perhaps the Americas call it the Fusion, while Europe â I'm beginning to have doubts over any other parts of the planet ;-) â call it the Mondeo.
By the way, am I right that this Mondeo/Fusion is the first time Ford have developed said model into a 'world car'? I distinctly remember the Mondeo being planned as such from the outset â hence the name; 'monde' is French for 'world'.

I remember seeing a US version called Ford Contour during the 1990's
here in Brazil the Mondeo (same spec as Europe, same name) was sold between 1995 and early/mid 2000's I think...
as for the Fusion, in Brazil they started selling the first gen in 2006 I think, so this is the new model (third gen?)...
both the 2012 Mondeo and Fusion were totally different cars, now the new model is basically the same car for both.

I somehow suspect they didn't mount the machine guns. So any chance of ontrack incidents should be limited.http://www.youtube.c...p;v=dqcjxvH1AjE

It also reminds me that what F1 needs in 2013 is more drivers who can't stand each other.

Unfortunately though it seems the FOM are doing their damnedest to get it removed from everywhere on the internet, even the official site! Which had it up until last night.
Be quick guys, some people really don't want you watching this and hearing some of the opinions.

The Piquet/Mansell interview was the best F1-related thing I've seen in years. As a huge Piquet fan, I know I'm biased, but they both gave honest answers about their time in the sport and the way things are today. It was fantastic.

Did I say scale? Come on, these days only Piquet would tell you in your face he's sitting there strictly for the money. With Kimi it's implied. With Bernie... I wouldn't post here without mentioning Bernie.
