Would that be Steve Lewis Evans, who posted here briefly? It's a shame that Hall & Hall misspelt his father's name in their blurb:I ask as Stuart Lewis-Evans son would like to know, and he tells me he called to find out and was given short thrift!

Do Hall & Hall actually own all the cars they advertise for sale, or do they sell some on commission?
"Bought by the current owner direct from Vandervell"
The wording in the blurb would suggest that they were acting on behalf of a third party in the sale of VW9.
