Lewis moves to a team where he can get more personal sponsorships, one of the first things he has to do is get rid of his only (?) personal sponsor?
Can't wait to see him in action anyway. New Merc team wear looks good

Here's a nice photo of Lewis, Nico and Ross together. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been posted yet, on a mobile so it takes a while to check.

Lauda seems just so..... incongruous with the whole thing.
It would seem they now have too many cooks in the kitchen, Wolff and Lauda? I sort of get the feeling Lauda is maybe a "place marker" for a piece that hasn't been acquired just yet...? His function is redundant:
Brawn - technical director.
Wolff - management.
Lauda - obviously not Ross Brawn, and redundant after hiring Wolff.
?
Who does Lauda have attachments to? Alex Chilton. Or does Lauda like hunting? The only thing Mercedes is really missing is Adrian Newey. There is a piece missing that Lauda has access to, all parties know of it and agree with it - and must not comment on it.
Brawn pulled Rory Byrne - and engine designer - out of the gate once before. Is there an equivalence today? Perhaps someone who is already gotten inside info from elsewhere... and continues to get it?
Who is the foremost expert on turbos on the planet? Or somebody from outside of F1 who is an "Adrian Newey" in a mechanical sense: turbo pumps in rocket engines, turbines in jets?

With Schumacher gone, Mercedes did need to hire a Big Star...
