I have a free day in Cologne next week and wondered if there's anything in the city to go and see racing/car-wise?

I know Toyota Motorsport and Ford Motor Co are there but I'm thinking more about museums, book shops, models shops etc. I won't have my own transport so things need to be easily reachable in a day via public transport.

There is the Von trips museum in Horrem 20 kilometer west of Cologne:
