Would like to know if ANYBODY knows the whereabouts of MURRAY BINGHAM. I need to contact him urgently, if not sooner. I found a address in Coffs & mobile No months ago but repeated calls got his voice on messagebank but no luck with a reply. I then decided to pen a letter which came back RTS, left 5 years. Would wish to converse with him about aspects of his career in the 70s & have some info for him which 'may impress'. Just hope I'm not too late, with the possibility of him having gone racing in 'the sky'. Anyone with info can PM me PLEASE!

If he was in Coffs, possibly Dick Willis would have known something about him there...
If it helps, I bought his car trailer from him.

As far as I know he travels the country in a motorhome spreading the word (of God). He was based in Coffs. I can make a call to see if a friend of mine has contact details.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing the one of it on the trailer...
I used to have a lot of fun with that trailer. Oddly enough, I went to a Silverdale Hillclimb one day and a child (Murray's? I don't know) was playing on the trailer, fell and got hurt. My wife sort of helped out a bit before they took the kid off to the hospital or whatever. So I had this obscure prior connection prior to owning it.

Well I be dammed is MURRAY BINGHAM still alive, I thought that he had died of Cancer 20/30 years ago, if I remember correctly he was a heavy smoker.

I doubt that he is now...
Anyway, it's a good thing that our new member has got the info. Let's hope he comes back and tells us more.

Have sent a email to Murrays last known address & have not had a reply, perhaps he doesn't check very often or isn't interested.

HAP,HAP,HAPPY!!!!! Finally made contact with Murray yesterday. He appeared to be quite impressed to learn that the MK3 is still alive & turning wheels in anger at 43 years of age. He is going to follow 'MURRAY's progress in the Pedders/Midland Sprint Series this year. Thanks for your very valuable info guys!
