I heard that Christian Horner tested with Lotus in 1993. Has anyone more information about that?
Pictures?
Reports?
Times?
How it came to the test?

Pic of Horner in front of an F3 car along with Lotus drivers Herbert and Zanardi. Only one other place even makes a connection between the two: Link.

The F1 Testing "database" is terrible. Sorry  but it is.

Why have something like that indexed by driver christian names?! Surely it should be by date or, at the very least, by surname.

Some immediately obvious omissions as well. Not good.

Christian Horner did some straight line aerodynamic testing at Hethel in a two-year old Lotus 102B in July 1993, I believe this may have taken place around the time of the British GP weekend.

So, absolutely no story here at all, let's move on.

I guess the answer to the final question is money. Horner doesn't seem to have been too badly off and Lotus by that stage were going the plughole financially.
