Can anyone supply programme details and full results for this race held during the Guards International meeting at Brands Hatch, August 3rd 1964?
Or maybe suggest a website that may have this information?
Thanks

Thanks Christer,
Not much on that website sadly. I have the Autosport and Motor Sport reports but would really like the programme entries and more detailed and fuller results if possible.

I've never heard of 'Scottish Clubman Ltd' anyone know what they did? or was it just the name of a company set up to cover J Mackay's racing activities?

Edit: a quick Google search shows the company was based in Stonehaven, and also entered Bill Borrowman's 997 Mini cooper in BRSCC events in 1962, presumaly before he set up Sportstune in Edinburgh, and raced under that 'banner'

Anyone know anything about Surbiton Motors Ltd (entrant for Elans #114 & 5)? There is a Surbiton Motors unit near me in West Molesey, Surrey and one listed in Brighton Road, Surbiton (presumably both parts of the same company?). Is this the same company as the 1964 entrant?

I seem to remember being at Hawthorns Bend when an MGB failed to slow down, left the circuit and disappeared, sideways, into the trees at about head height...

He also raced a Jaguar 3.8 in the British Saloon Car Championship.

ISTR he was involved with Nicky Byrne in a Merc 220seb (??) under Squadra Tetra Rouge or some such, have not checked the entry list, in the '62 or 63 Motor 6 hrs. The car was tested by Autosport ISTR in period. He is also Christabel Carlisle's uncle, IIRC, . Didn't he race a 15 or an 11 at the NRing too?
Waiting to be corrected, possibly relying a little too much on ISTR and IIRC.......
Roger Lund

BTW If anyone can put me in touch with Nicky Byrne, as long as it does not involve a seance or ouija board, I would be grateful
