[Herr Wankel]

Just had the sad news that Esteban Oliveras, friend, mentor, and mechanic to Santiago Herrero died yesterday. A wonderful chap and a talented and resourceful mechanic, probably best known in the UK as the guy who rebuilt the factory OSSA motor between races at the Hutchinson 100 (1969) Santi went on to blow everyone away in the 1300cc race with it. Must have been very patient too. Imagine driving from Barcelona to Imatra in a SEAT 1500 pick-up (factory race transporter !!) these days,let alone back then. RIP Esteban
