In the early eighties my friend Gibbo ( Keith Gibbons ) competed with the CRMC in the early years of that club. His weapon of choice was a T25 Triumph 250 and although way underpowered compared to other machines in the class, he had some very good rides on it until one very hot and sunny day at Snetterton ( yes we do get them ) in 1984. The dear little soul gave her all that day coming into Russells as the pictures below show. She still lives and gets the odd run now and then. Note the quality of the transporter ( Capri ) and the accommodation in the background. Nice number plate though !

Although I do not have any photos my second outing of two as a sidecar passenger (and I only did that because my TD2B broke its' crank in practice) ended up with me just arresting a slide out the back of the platform when the crank cases of the 830cc BSA let go half way up the Revett Straight at Snetters spewing vast quantities of oil out as the barrels flapped up and down with no anchorage at the bottom. What a mess but not unknown on Jumbo A65s.
