And, if you haven't seen it, now would be a good time to post a link to Jules finest hour (to date anyway!):

Bianchi v Vietoris Silverstone 2011

That was absolutely amazing to watch. Thanks a lot!

Wow. So performance trumped over the all mighty dollar. Who'da thunk that?
Really glad for Jules though, Even if it is in a Marussia. Maybe I'lll keep my eye on the backend afterall.

Has that ever happened before? A driver sacked before making his first start?

Another Bianchi moment:

That said - this is his GP2 debut weekend in races versus e.g. Pic, vd Garde and Chilton:

Didn't they have a battle in GP2 and crashed a few times? Might of been mixed up with Luiz Razia.

To be fair, Bianchi crashed into most of the grid in GP2. On the bright side, starting from the back should reduce his accident race in F1.

So did they really remove Razia due to poor performance?

lack of sponsorship/funding I assume? Bianchi has Ferrari backing so I would imagine this is much more secure a deal.

How many leaders can he take out in one race?

Exactly. Luckily he's not up the front, as he'd make Grosjean look like the embodiment of spatial awareness.
