But in real, I think Mercedes or Lotus - their liveries don't help ;p especially the Lotus one only puts more focus on it.

it's not really a fair poll is it??? last year all cars bar one had step noses, this year , the choice pool is limited to just 3 ... bit unfair. but of all the stepped cars, Lotus is the best looking, and i hardly can't imagine without one TBH, i love the pelican nose and color scheme

Caterham and Lotus are by a long way the most hideous.

Of those with the vanity panel, Red Bull.

I already liked the Lotus's nose last year. It's smooth, the curve is easy to the eye. Black is always good, but I could do without the red spots.
To be honest, modern F1 can don't have much for looks anyway. When the new rules came in I stopped caring about the looks really.

The Caterham is by far the worst in my opinion. It's just to awkward looking. The Red Bull looks like a witch with a crooked nose, and the Mercedes looks bad from some angles but okay from others. I think the Williams looks like a boat.

And all because the FIA couldn't just limit the height of the tip of the nose.

Only the Lotus and the former Lotus are truly hideous. Overall, the class of '13 is a step above '12. Those wings though...

+1 It was the ugliest last year and hasn't changed much... Don't like the RB and the Lotus noses too, but they are far "behind" the Gatorham, if ugliness is concerned...

for the cars with the vanity panel, it would be great to understand where the 'nose' ends and where the panel starts. i thought that the panel would be a standard piece from the FIA for all teams using it, but it seems to not be the case. do photos of these cars without the panel exist?

I sort of like it. It's like the Spazzaneve re-imagined.

I seriously don't understand how one can consider the Ferrari nose the ugliest when an abomination like the Merc nose is around, which looks like they fixed last year's nose with a blob of silly putty covered by cling film. I just hope this is temporary and different in their final spec.

Merc, easily. They need to lose the boxy ridges along the front of the tub already.

Closely followed by red bull and caterham
