Very sad news. My condolences to Frank and the whole team.

I knew she was a major support to Frank but I never realised how much. http://joesaward.wor...iams-1946-2013/

Oh no, that is very sad...I remember reading her book "A Different Kind Of Life" about 20 years ago...she seemed like a wonderful person and a tower of strength to Frank after his accident. RIP. :(

I have only just noticed this and would like to add my own name to these public condolences. My most heartfelt sympathy for Frank and son Jonathan, family and friends. I had no idea poor Ginny was so ill - the sacrifices she made in the early days contributed more than we outsiders can ever know to the foundation of this magnificent team and certainly to Frank's emergence as possibly the most significant purebred RACER of our era. And amen indeed to the above.

Very sad news indeed, and Condolences to all the Williams family.

It's sobering to imagine the burden she must have borne over the decades in helping that team get to the top and stay there for so long.

Very sad news - one of those unsung, behind the scenes heroes, whose influence or involvement in the sport far outweighs any mentions in the history books. RIP and condolences to all who loved her.

Very sad news indeed - Williams deserves to make good its improvement from last year, as they are (as DCN so eloquently put it), racers as opposed to businesspeople who happen to be in motorsport. This news on the eve of the season, only reinforces that view.
