My view of the top 6 teams:

Qualifying
1. Mercedes
2. Red Bull
3. Ferrari/Lotus
5. Mclaren/Force India

Race
1. Ferrari
2. Lotus/Red Bull
4. Mclaren/Force India/Mercedes

I agree more or less but you should add a third category:

Tyres
1.Lotus
2.Ferrari
3.Red Bull

...Mercedes, or something like that

Just so nobody mistakingly thinks we´re actually talking about something other than the tyres. ´Cause we´re not.

That's the "race" category.

Mmhm, but they´re slightly different IMO. Ferrari being the best race car with it´s characteristics but Lotus maybe being a bit better with the tyres and so on. Mercedes having a mysterious problem with the race.. or the tyres... or both.. must be tyres. It´s all about the tyres. If they´re the same thing "race" should be renamed to "tyres" or something since apparentally there´s no racing anymore. It´s all about the tyres. If you haven´t noticed yet the point I was trying to make that the main issue I have with the tyres is that people just can´t seem to be able to talk about anything except the tyres and I´m sick of the tyres being the main focus. And now since I´m so smart I´ve just unnecessarily brought them up. You know, tyres...

I´ll stop now...

Race

I would only do some small changes:
Qualifying
3. Ferrari
4. Lotus

Race
4. Mercedes
5. McLaren/Force India

IMO Ferrari is by good margin the best car so far. Alonso could have won in Australia if not for being stuck behind Massa and gone for a non optimal strategy. Malaysia is hard to tell, but if I'm not mistaken Alonso said himself he had enough pace to fight for the victory and China was an easy win. Bahrain I'm not sure he could have fought Vettel, but he certainly could have finished second if not for the DRS problem. Spain another easy victory.

I guess so. What else would I base my perception on?

like everyone else*: random speculation based on nothing but personal preference and animosity towards certain teams and drivers?

*exaggerated, ofc.

Interesting that Button had both Lotus drivers beaten today – even if Kimi had continued it's unlikely he would have been able to get ahead of Jenson.

1 RBR

2-4 Lotus/Ferrari/Mercedes - depends on weather and track.

That's why RBR will win both titles.
