For American viewers, is NBC going to be streaming FP1 live online? I cant find anything on the site. They're not showing it on TV til midnight EST(when its on 9:30 live) and would like to know if I need to make other arrangements.
Same here. Looked on the site and no mention of streaming. Must say I hope NBC isn't this careless with F1. They already delayed the first viewing of Countdown to F1 because of a basketball game and now this.

I'm not entirely sure either... I'll try to get a hold of somebody and ask, but I think if you want to watch it on the tele you're just going to have to wait

Anybody know where/how I could watch fp1 in Canada?
Get the app. It's as good as it gets. Unless you want to get a vpn.

They will obviously have that period, on FP2, where everybody tests durability of tires, but aside from that, both Rosberg and Lewis are gonna go for laptimes and headlines imo.
Lotus is gonna have reliability problems, as usual.
Ferrari is gonna be discreet, Red Bull even more.
Mclaren will appear to be in trouble, especially because Button is gonna complain about balance through his radio, as usual, and give the false impression of them being not among the tops.
Sauber is gonna sandbag as hell, as they always do.
and that's my predictions for these first 3 FPs

Diet Pepsi when beer runs out. Tick
New coffee filter machine ready for when the Pepsi runs out. Tick.
I'll still be shocked if I get to FP2.
Only half an hour to build up coverage starts.

I think Mercedes' boys are gonna go for glory runs all the way through these FPs.

Last year the Mclarens did 25 laps between them and dominated fp1 (and qualifying, and the race). Im confident todays simulations and factory made setups are so good well get a good idea wich cars are good from the word go and wich not so.
Btw, if anyone wants or needs a link to watch fp1, drop me a pm.

A little over 5 hours til the green light shines with all its beautiful glory signalling the start of the 2013 Formula 1 World Championship. Weather in the morning looks to be similar to yesterday, overcast and chilly with a little drizzle but clearing throughout the day with hopefully beautiful sunshine for the start of FP1. It cleared up here about lunch time yesterday and once it did conditions were beautiful albeit a little windy.
have at it gents.
Cough, cough. Ladies too.

The FIA learned a very good lesson last year. Implemented a stringer FW load test before Japan, and it affected McLaren's competitiveness in the next 3 GPs resulting in Vettel bagging 3 straight GP wins in Japan, Korea and India. Will Redbulls wing still flex?
Every dam year they manage to bypass the rules and make fw flex..
I am sure some will argue it is more to do with the DDRS and the whole lots of updates implemented in Singapore, but the test did hurt McLaren competitiveness a bit and their subsequent pace .

My prediction is quite simple - Red Bulls will not be 2s away from Mercedes times. I am looking at a high 1m25s fastest lap today.I think Mercedes' boys are gonna go for glory runs all the way through these FPs.
