Apart from the team/driver you support, who do you want to do well this year?

I find it's always nice to to have a couple of drivers you support doing well incase the first one doesn't finish

As a side line this year I'd like to see Mark outscore Seb and for Lewis and the Mercedes team to spank McLaren

Lewis is far and out the guy I want to win it this year, but Id be delighted if one of the two just mentioned takes it.

As for this year? I hope the good guys prosper. I'm hoping that Pastor and Romain clean up their act, and of course wishing the newbies a good season.

But please Seb, don´t win another one. It gets boring. Just drive like hell, but don´t win it in the end.
Rosberg. I always suspected this guy is a top driver not being able to get in a really good car. Prove me right, Nico.

I despise Alonsos constant downplaying of his car to make himself look better but even that is preferable to Vettel having another title in the rocket ship.
Romain Grosjean to take a chill pill and get back on track. He is very fast when he's on it.
The Hulk having a great year and signing to a top team by the end of the season.

It's kind of like someone you would like to see do well but you wont get pissed/crushed/suicidal/angry if they don't.If you want someone to do well, that sort of turns into supporting?

Webber supporter, but I'd like to see Alonso get his triple this year. Three years ago I would never have said that
Ditto. As for teams, I'd like to see Williams do well too.

Hamilton and Alonso then.
And I'd like to see Marussia and Caterham to close up for once.

But there are several I'd like to do well:-
Webber
Massa
Bottas

Rosberg - Just because Hamilton fans are so annoying and cocky, + son of Keke.
Massa - Very sympathic guy!
Team? Tough one... Williams or Sauber!

But I would be happy too if Massa and Kimi bag race wins or perform well . They were quite friendly when I met them at the "meet the fans session" at KLCC when they were with Sauber Petronas.

Hulk, Bottas, Kimi, Rosberg, Bianchi.

Maldonado - like Grosjean, I hope he shakes off the racing incidents.
Both Nicos - I rate both quite highly (Hulk slightly more than Rosberg) so I hope both have good seasons.
Felipe - I have always liked his attitude towards racing.
Toro Rosso - Sebastian's 1st win was with them, so I have always wished them (as a team more than specific drivers really) well.

In fairness to Maldonado, he has started to calm down since Spa last year. The last racing incident he had was with Kobayashi in India, although he did have a penalty in Brazil for missing the weighbridge thing. I too hope he does well this year, I worry if the uncertainty of the PDVSA money and Bottas will rattle him this year .Maldonado - like Grosjean, I hope he shakes off the racing incidents.
Agree with Massa too, hope he has a solid year and then heads off to another team in 2014 so he's no longer Alonso's lapdog.

I'm really fearing another Red Bull whitewash this year so I hope Alonso can prevent that and finally pull it off. If anyone deserves 3 titles it's him!
#49
Posted 17 March 2013 - 14:26
I'm on open Kimi fan. But possibly the biggest reason I pull for him so, is that I feel he has had a great deal of misfortune in his career (relative to the other top 3 or so) with the first part wasted under hopelessly unreliable Mercedes engines, the second part very negatively affected by politics at Ferrari, and now he's in a much lower budget team than his rivals.
Just would love to see him have the opportunity I believe he deserves.
