He wouldn't have won in France. The classic Trulli train ensured that Alonso had a 30 second lead after 20 laps.

Yes,he would,if not for grid penalty he'd never be behind Truli.

You also have to remember that Kimi inhereted multiple wins from his teammates misfortunes; Montoya gifted him Canada and Hungary.

Canada was gift from Alonso too(although it has nothing to do with misfortune,just like Montoya's black flag),and Raikkonen would have probably won in Hungary even without Montoya's dnf.

They are both phenomenal drivers. Both of them were/are fun to watch, both talented, both have quirky personalities, but if I had to choose (and I'd be hard pressed to do so), I'd pick Mika. He's my all time favourite, even though the numbers may not be able to match up to a lot of other drivers from past and present.
