A trifle OT I know, but I'm told that there is at least one Tucker here in the UK and that it may be in a London museum. I've done some googling but haven't come up with anything, would anyone on here know at all?
OT, but... Tuckers in the UK?

A man in Surrey called John Jackson owned one in 2007/8:

He set up a website about Tucker and his car, but it doesn't appear to have been updated since 2008:
http://www.tuckertor...9.com/index.htm
There are contact details on that site's credit pages for people who helped him with the car, who may know something about its present whereabouts.

Wiki lists #1049 as being resident in Old Oxted, Surrey.
Rather than relying on my friends in California, I'd love to see a Tucker in the flesh too if anyone has further details

Of course, the "production" 1949 Tucker was not called the Torpedo, which was the name of the proposed car from some years before. The "production" car did not have much in common with the much-hyped proposal, which was full of ideas that did not work in practice.
