So I was speaking to a mate of mine from uni who works in banking in London and he told me that Silverstone is being sold to the boss of a big Taiwanese technology company. I didn't even remember that it was up for sale so looked into it and found articles mentioning that a lease was being sold last year. I guess this is what my mate is referring to but not sure. He refused to blab any more than he had already. Not sure if he can be trusted but he does know lots of 'money men' so I wouldn't be surprised if he is on the button with this. Does anyone here have contacts at Silverstone who they could ask so we could find out if this is true? Sad if it is.
