So it looks like we're in for more unsettled weather, expected to some extent but I'd rather a dry weekend.

How many SC laps then. 10... 20... 30... all of them?
Assuming they let the cars move in the first place

1-major visiblity problems (reported by the drivers not the fia) (hamilton in silverstone 2012 when he said he didnt see kobayashi in front of him and was heading straight to his a**.
2-aquaplaning due to standing water : the driver is in full throttle in full control , the next thing he knows he is buried in a gravel trap or hugging the wall .
what ?

I can remember some years when F1 fans would have danced naked around their houses even for a small drop of water during the quali or race.
THIS! Especially in the nineties, early noughties dry races were boring as fk, and turning on the tv with a wet soaking track was a gift from heaven. Today the notion of rain clenches my hind parts for delay, lots of sc cars or worse.

That is for everyone who is crying about rain, Pirellis, DRS, KERS, Red Bull dominance...

Because F1 has become too sensitive to rain. A reasonable downpour used to add a lot of excitement to races and displayed the drivers car control in the wet. Now it usually means none of that, and we're reduced to waiting for a 90% dry track or laps behind the safety car.
I'm not saying they should drive in extreme conditions, I'm saying that any water on the track now means the race is halted.

Too right.
A few years back Rosberg and Williams gambled on a full wet setup on saturday, to reap rewards on a 100% sure wet sunday. The next day it was raining and Charlie Whiting suspended the race, so long that when the cars went out again everybody went on intermediates and Williams gamble was lost. Its days like that I need to contain myself to not smash the tv up out of sheer frustration and anger.

People still think the 90s were 10 years ago.10 years ago I'd say: Great, this one is Senna's. Now I say s**t, long delay, may be cancelation today.
