I thought Nico was the king of the wet according to last week comments. Now when it's wet he is unlucky.
Lewis just saves it all for Q3 and when you are talking about Luck i think Lewis is the king of being unlucky.
Silly thread

I was impressed with Rosberg today, disappointed for him but really a new thread? It's like putting up a weather thread when we already had one.... Did I do that?

On both occasions this year, when Rosberg is faster than Hamilton in qualy, the conditions change in Lewis' favor.
The only condition that has changed consistently is that Lewis has become quicker.

How did they change both times to Lewis favour when Lewis just said after the quali that he would prefer dry conditions while Nico was very loud the whole week that he would prefer wet. Lewis beat Nico in both dry and wet Q3's when it matters, Lewis always has reserves for Q3, he almost never pushes in Q1 and Q2, looks like Nico simply shows his speed earlier than Lewis.

Now we're entering the realm of religion and theology to make up excuses.
Should be fun...

Q1 and Q2 is about getting through, nothing more. The top drivers/teams rarely show their true hand.

What's unlucky about the rain, particularly in relation to your team mate? Same car, same conditions. That's not an excuse for being slower.
There's nothing unlucky about handling a change in conditions that your team mate is also experiencing in a less successful way. It isn't a lack of luck.

As Rosberg was destroying Lewis in Q1 and Q2?
Do you think Lewis destroy Rosberg in Q3?
To be honest I hate the word destroy, when theres being nothing of the sort on either side.

Next time it's gonna be Lewis that goes and has a talk with his rain voodoo, just to beat Nico
Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. I think for most of us here it was obvious that Lewis would win the battle between teammates. Seems some other members are still delusional.

Yes, the main point of this new qualifying being a lottery sometimes. In the old system Rosberg wouldv been on pole. Now, as in melbourne, het gets caught out on a track that gets quicker every second in Q3. I think its good on Hamiltons part that he seizes those moments though. Ive seen him mess up quite a few Q3s in similar conditions before.

Ive no idea mate. I was speaking more in terms of losing out on pole. But if you insist, Monza 2008: Heikki P2, Hamilton P15. Malaysia 2010: Jenson P15, Lewis P18.

Destroying Lewis. I usually reserve my comments on things like that until the Sunday race gets over. Because qualy pace and race pace can be two entirely different things. One should know by now. This guy destroying lewis, easily pole but then suddenly weather changed..
No, there are many more drivers who have been much more unlucky in the past. Rosberg has had some unluck, but he is not even close. Just compare with his last year teammate. This is the 1000x times that rosberg is so unlucky
