Should he be reprimanded for it?

Of course not. All it achieved is make him look silly.

I think it didn't make him look silly at all. Just the opposite, it was exactly what Vettel deserved. That and a slap on the head.

As I said earlier, its just pay back time. What goes around comes around.

Though what Seb did was ethically wrong, I applaud him for taking it to Mark ala Silvo 2011.

The video is quite unclear. Did Mark really give Sebastian the middle finger in that footage?

I laughed when on Sky the presenter said "We've pixellated it so we can show it on TV", erm what's the point of showing it then?

Sky showed an onboard shot of Webber but totally pixelated it. It was a definite middle finger anyway

(isn't it weird what can count as offensive in this world?)

Vettel? Judging from how he behaves and acts, not more than 13.

One of my abiding memories of F1 is Alonso flipping Ralf the finger coming out of the tunnel at Monaco backwards; Coulthard letting Schumacher know what he thought of the move at Adelaide corner at Magny Cours also springs to mind. Its all very pantomime and pretty funny to be honest, suggesting a reprimand is insanity.

Why do they keep hiring Webber and Vettel in the same team. Webber is no good team mate for anybody I think that's pretty clear. Didn't he want Antonio Pizzonia booted from Jauger. He seems like a bully which people fail to recognize.

No, not Vettel. The Australian old guy.

I see this clearer than ever now, although I've always felt this somewhat.

Yea, Vettel is a saint wants others to be his lapdogs and if people refuse to do so runs to Marko.

Strictly from racing point of view I would have replaced him end of 2010, but he seems to have friends who keeping him for reasons that escape me.

If Webber was bullying Seb.. how come Seb apologised in the post race press conference? Vettel went against his own team.

Which in some ways.. I think fair play. But then when the situation is reversed, I'm sure Vettel would love Webber to be overtaking him.. when they've been told to hold position.

Childish behavior from such an old man. He should leave the F1 already and try to gain some wisdom somehow.

Sure. There are still some threads on the frontpage that have no connection to Teamordergate and we have to get those down to page 2 to honour the severity of this incident.

Vettel doesn't care about having to apologize to a Webber, all he cares about is being the winner and being the leader in the WDC fight at any cost. That's the right attitude to have when you come to play. Now Webber showing his finger or anything else is fine - being in F1 since donkey's years, accomplishing next to nothing in a rocket that's won 3 WCC and being with a teammate that trounces him more often than not, is in itself a severe punishment...the guy doesn't need any more than what he is getting already!

No, and here's why.

With the looks Webber was giving Vettel on the podium, one thing is for sure...if it was Sutil in Webber's shoes then Vettel would not have survived the podium celebrations, not with all that champagne glass readily available.

Just overtake Webber when you've been told not to, he'll sort that out for you no problem.

Hahaha good one!

I have to say I fully expected to see webber punch finger-boy once they got out of the car... It would be fully justified imo, he deserved a couple teeth knocked out today.
