I am still browsing the Vienna Museum websits and enjoying it immensly.
It has raised a few ID questions from 1970s hillclimbs though.
Any ideas on what/who for the following would be appreciated.
1. 1974 : no idea !

2. 1975 : This looks like a Surtees TS14 ?

This looks familiar but I'm struggling to recall where I've seen it. I think it may be Alfred "Freddy" Amweg's home-built Amweg AW 76/2 Formula 2 car.Hi

This one's bugging me too! Nicely presented car but I suspect it didn't start life looking anything like that. F5000 engine in the back? Name on the cockpit seems to be K. B...inger or K. R...inger but that's not helping me at the moment.
I'll be back!

Looks something like/similar to a McNamara Indy car of 1970.

It seems that the only one to be confirmed is #3, the Lotus 76 look-alike.

Any German speakers willing to get in touch with Herr Böhringer and find out exactly what it was? His contact details are here:
http://www.hrt.at/cu...boehringerk.htm
Or are you already planning to do that Reinhard?

This is what he told me about his car:
He bought the McNamara from Niki Lauda. First engine was a 1100 cm³ Nova.
Then a 1600 cm³ Ford was installed which enabled Karl Böhringer to set a new track record at the Ecce Homo hillclimb which stood for some years.
On the photos from 1974 the car had a 3500 cm³ Rover V8.
