@ Kalmake. Dunno if I'm on the right track, but the Saw puppet is called Billy. So Bill/Billy something?

I didn't even know it had a name. "Saw" is the word for that pic.

Haha, now I'm no closer to working out who it is  . I'll guess Satoru Nakajima  .

Would anybody like to play a game of . . .

ROCKBUSTERS ?

1. This former World Champion has never been on the high street of a particular Scottish town. (AS)
2. You better help this driver as his gloves are stuck on the wheel. (HS)
3. This religious man always has a shower. (CK)
4. It's not unusual, pussycat! (TJ)
5. Don't trifle with this driver. (JDA)

Indycar Bonus. If you want to quit smoking, then you'll need this abstract driver to help. WP

Sorry, forget to include that :p .

1. (Isle of) Man - 2. fre(e)d - 3. Wink - 4. el (I didn't work this once out entirely) - 5. hock (wine)

Now to get back to the Saw one :well: . One last guess otherwise it'll drive me mad if keep guessing. Shorty Templeman? Saw - Shor, perhaps?

4. Specific driver and track are relevant for the clue.

Nope. It's a derisive nickname, perhaps not as well known as I thought. :/

Hint: It's Bulbasaur, but that part doesn't really matter (hint, hint!). I only picked it cause it's generic.
