When time permits I am clearing my files and loft. I have more or less complete sets of magazines like "Historic Race & Rally"; "Sporting Cars" & "Collectors Cars" which were all quite short lived but very good, the last two being edited by Phillip Young and helped get his idea of historic rallying going.
HR&R was edited by Clive Richardson and funded I think by Nick Mason. Despite the content being good it was perhaps a bit before its time and lasted I think for about a year.
If anyone would like them I am happy to accept a donation to the BHF for them.

Funded by a group of enthusiasts, of which I think Nick Mason was one

You might also consider donating them directly to an automotive library or archive, which preserves them and usually keeps them accessible to researchers. In the U.S., if the recipient organization is properly classified, the tax man may allow a tax deduction. I've donated thousands of old magazines and race programs to Auto-Archives here in Colorado. Dunno about British tax rules...

I think the cost would be far too great. I am happy to give them to someone who will collect them.
