Not sure if I'm the only one to think that the director has some kind of ADD... He can't follow the same car for a whole lap during FP. It always cuts to some other car after half a lap. :o

Agree with the OP 100%.

This weekend is going to be even worse as the director constantly cuts away from the action to show celebs and babes in bikinis (sorry, if I want that I can just look on the internet).

It seems to me that FOM TV is doing lame job, not just with start replays. With all the technology available, their entire broadcast is terrible. It could be so much better.

Why can't they show an overlay comparison of how two drivers went through one corner. Something like on this video, but not with onboard camera. They could show that kind of comparisons during free practices when there is no action on circuit.

Why don't they use onboard camera tha can rotate, like in Indy. Imagine having that camera during Alonso-Vettel battle through Curva Grande.

Also, it would be cool to have speed traps in corners, to compare entry, apex and exit speeds from different drivers.

Well, again a good bunch of pointless start replays shown. But this was Monaco, so this time you sort of knew you wouldn´t miss anything. So it was tolerable, I didn´t get angry.

But I bet my house that they´ll repeat the usual mistake when we arrive to Canada.

FOM's TV coverage has been getting worse each year.

Just one particular complaint I have is, why is there such a difficulty in properly capturing the sound of the cars? Handheld footage shot by fans at the races actually seems to do a better job of capturing the sound then the professionally shot footage. Why even CBS did a better job of it when they broadcast the 1985 Grand Prix of Detroit. I still get goosebumps from the sound of the Williams-Honda of Keke Rosberg on that broadcast.
