Piquet is in Brazil doing some X-Games business. No idea where Larson is.
Come on Turner, find someone else to crew chief that K&N East outfit of yours and put CALE GALE in the #30 truck.

FFS, he only bloody won the last race he took part in  (smeared KyBu against the wall like a peanut butter M&M, too)

Don't worry Ross, im sure all bits and pieces of the AMRone have been destroyed by now. It should be resting alongisde Hoffa and the Indy Flyers.

Uh... the engine must have been destroyed and incinerated and buried somewhere far out of sight, but a couple of chassis still remain and might be still running. Reincarnated into other stuff obviously.

They must be real cheap now, the last sight I had of them was in the Deltawing and on a limping Pescarollo. Not really doing well in my opinion.

But back on topic, for those who missed it, this is what happened in in the last race with incredible ramifications into Formula 1 and Mercedes.

The cop that was killed at the MIT standoff was the brother of Hendricks mechanic Andrew Collier. .

Thoughts are with their family.

Oh! L’Apprenti sorcier! one of my favourite pieces by far, but not that version. I have one by an Slovakian orchestra that is really lovely.
But back to what really matters. What did happen? Did somebody try to do something too difficult for him and got out of his control until the "master" came and solved it all? I didn't watch it.

For the record, either they redid the paint after this photo was taken or it didnt come out well. They just showed Almirola and both blue and red look much darker and less gulfy.

I hate how there is a month gap till the next truck race.

What do the truck drivers do in the off time?

He's been quite quick several weekends. Unfortunately he still has all of Sunday to get involved in a crash, have a mechanical failure, have miserable pit stops, and fall victim to pitting right before a caution is thrown :|.

(Go see both threads (yes, a thread was made just for the trucks) and you will see what happened)
But to cut it short, all hexing on Busch failed and in the process of trying to jinx Logano (who almost won) someone typed AMG and I ended up doing a reverse jinx which carried on to the 17 truck.

Stupid question. It seems Nascar found out that roof cameras give an aero advantage and took them away.
Are the cameras really that expensive that Nascar cant afford to mount in all cars? Not even dummy cameras?

thanks! I had read the Sprint Cup thread but not the trucks one and I thought you were talking about a race incident. But, actually, the whole jinxing story makes much more sense when talking about "sorcerers"

They actually DO mount dummy cameras in every car. Even the inside-the-cockpit ones. But I think the issue was that some teams were somehow able to take better advantage than others of that downforce from the disc shaped pod on the roof.

They definitely put dummy pods/mounting points with the exact same shape and weight on all cars, and have been doing so for years.

Todd Bodine really shouldn't drive anything more powerful than a lawnmower.

The race has been a wreckfest, but the green flag periods have had some good battles, especially by 1.5 miler standards.

Yeah but as I said, some teams get more of an advantage from the pod on the roof, so they took them all away. But just the roof cams. There are still bumper cams and every car/truck has a little pod with weight in it, equivalent to the camera weight and shape.

Good finish, seems like eceryone decided to race at the end and let the caution record for later. Cobb get's a lucky check for staying out of trouble.
