So many wheel to wheel battles, drivers all around the field made brilliant overtakings and no real causality, yet some people complain that 'racing' is no more in F1.... :well:

Because the DRS+KERS+Pirelli combination worked at this race.

Problem is that this is still an exception.

still even crash prone guys like Grosjean and Maldonado made measured attempts that amazed me...

There was only racing with the harder tyres.

 I have to agree.. For Bahrain it was good combo but for most races it will be too much.

Agree with the OP.

3 or 4 stops was not conservative tyres, harder yes but no different from most race over the last two years. Conservative is what happened at the end of last year when it was 1 stops all around in certain races. Some folks can't see the wood for the trees though.

I prefer 2-4 pit stop races (though cant recall many races where soem teams could pull 2 stopper and some needed to 4 stop it) than 15lap sprint, pit, cruise to finish

DRS is making it to easy though, there can be great defending battles, with these tyres DRS is not needed, they should shut it off for a while

Yep. DRS isn't needed with these tyres, it kills the tension before an overtake, DRS overtakes feel inevitable sometimes. Certain circuits DRS is a help, Monaco/Singapore. Imagine how much better the Grosjean Vs Di Resta fight would of been without DRS...
