I'm watching today's meeting at Silverstone on Motors t.v.
Great to see the front-engined F. Junior cars but I'm wondering if this dark blue Lola that is battling for second place, being driven by Robin Langdon, or so the commentator says, is anything to do with Robin Longdon who I thought had a similar car.
Who is Robin Langdon?

Well, as Robin Longdon has a front-engined Lola Junior, I think we know the answer...
It seemed to me there was a new course commentary team this weekend (don't know if they fed into the Motors coverage)

We had our very own Joe Twyman as the resident expert on Motors.
As the t.v. commentator seemed to know an awful lot about many of the drivers I really did wonder if there was a Langdon as well as a Longdon.

It was definitly Robin Longdon in his Lola Mk2.

And what a treat it was!
Having watched the crash bang hype of Touring cars on ITV 4 for 2 hours I flicked to this not realising it was on.
A reminder of why I prefer historic racing to modern stuff.
