I'd feel terribly uncomfortable. Alonso is shy in public, no matter what people say about him.

A canon EOS-1D costs 6 grand. He's a pro photographer so most likely he's not using a hobbyist camera.More likely lense.

Please don't quote a very long post just to add a very brief comment. (You can cut out all the irrelevant parts for your comment.)That was such a crazily good start by Fernando, great driving.

ExactlyHe's a F1 driver, it comes with the job, don't like it then don't become one and give up the 20 million salary.

Photographer Jordi Martin went to the Barcelona Police and pressed charges agains Alonso for pushing him and breaking his 6.000 Euros camera.

I really, really hate this sort of attitude. Nowhere in his contract does it state that he has to give up his right to privacy. Its not part of the job. Its just what famous people often have to deal with because of crappy, pestering paparazzi. He's a F1 driver, it comes with the job, don't like it then don't become one and give up the 20 million salary.
Posted 09 May 2013 - 23:00
sometimes these photographers are really too intruding.... I dont follow Alonso so much, don't know how many private pics they have of him, but those pictures they made of Seb in Spain a week ago or so... where he seemed to be all in private, I thought they were a bit intruding especially the ones of them in the restaurant

$$$$$Lol.
Why didn't the guy just **** him one back?
He's basically on his knees - and he's still a good 2" taller than Fred who's on a slope.......

I'm afraid the inescapable conclusion is that it's us mainly, although the pap still has a choice but in this world atm the arseholes float to the top.Like a lot of things I can't decide whether it's the fault of the photographers (I detest paps, who are right at the end of the spectrum obviously) or us for creating the demand that they satisfy.
Posted 10 May 2013 - 07:18
Like when Räikkönen pushed photographer aside when he was stepping on his equipment.I don't blame Alonso at all. But after years in the spotlight, he should have known better than that.
And I can imagine people's outrage if it was Lewis or Vettel instead of Alonso. This forum would have exploded with words like "brat," "arrogant," "immature," "prima donna," "jerk," etc.

Too bad it happened in Spain, so the police won´t arrest Alonso. This was clear case of assault.

Ladies and gentlemen you are staring at the best post ever made!If you don't go for a photograph that's infront of you, you're no longer a photographer.

I think that's not the original quote. I remember what A. Senna said during one interview -paraphrasing - when (in race) I see an empty spot ahead of me, I (am the one who) must have it!Ladies and gentlemen you are staring at the best post ever made!

My post was placed waaaaay before the thread was openned. We already have a separate thread for this. Yet that guy posted this just to create a reaction and derail the thread. Do you not look up the first page and first think before you post something? Like if there is a relevant thread for it, if there has already been an entirely devoted thread opened specifically to satiate your thirst?
